Description:
Women, Infants, & Children, commonly known as WIC, is a nutrition program that provides nutrition and health education, healthy food and other services free of charge to Massachusetts families who qualify.

- Breast feeding support and education
Eligibility:
You may qualify for WIC if you are pregnant or a breast feeding woman and live in Massachusetts. Fathers, grandparents, foster parents or other legal guardians of a child under five years of age may also qualify.
If you currently receive TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth (Medicaid), you are automatically income eligible. Foster children under the age of 5 are also automatically eligible for WIC.
Participant income must be at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
